Harps Notes 12th November

The Harps Lotto jackpot, now £9400, was not won on Sunday night. The numbers were 12, 19, 20 & 23. £20 each went to Paula McGlone, Boho, Roisin Daly, Springfield, and Marie McGowan, Tonagh. The draw will be in the Cosy Bar this Sunday night. Pat McGurn, Michael Glynn and Mary Cox are on duty.

What a great way it was for our senior Ladies team to finish off the season on Sunday as they had a very strong performance to take the Division 2 league title against Tempo on Sunday. The victory was built on great mobility all around the pitch, and a lot of good combinations leading to scores. Congratulations to every member of the panel, plus team mangement on a great achievement for this very committed group. Our Minor ladies are still in competition, and good luck to them in their remaining matches.

The idea of an off season is from bygone GAA days, so it was great to see a number of our coaches taking their Level One coaching at Canon Maguire Park and in the Community Centre at the weekend. Thank you to the tutors from Fermanagh GAA for their helpful delivery of the different parts of the course.

Our Under 21s are in action this Sunday, at home to Erne Gaels at 12.00. Our Minors are also currently preparing for the Ulster Club Championship up at St Paul's. We are drawn against Crossmaglen Rangers, provisionally on December 2nd.

In terms of other dates to watch out for, our AGM, reflecting on a season past and planning for next year, takes place on Thursday night November 29th in the clubrooms. On a social, celebratory note, our Dinner Dance takes place on January 12th, surely a night to look forward to.
