Harps Notes 22nd January 2018

posted 22 Jan 2018, 02:48 by Derrygonnelly Harps

The Harps Lotto jackpot, now £3900, was not won on Sunday night. The numbers drawn were 5, 7, 11 and 23. £20 each went to Nicola Jones, Boho, Teresa McGrath, Boho, and Francis Mellor, Ora. We are in The Cosy Bar this Sunday night, with Eamonn Greene and John Ferguson on duty with Mary.

At the moment, our players, committee members, and a number of our promoters have our annual National Draw tickets on sale. The top prize is a Renault Dynamique and thereafter there are nineteen other fantastic prizes of a number of All Ireland Football and Hurling Final packages, shopping vouchers to the value of €1000, €500 and €250 and more. We are grateful for the support this fundraiser always gets, at a very useful time from a club finances point of view. Would all promoters please note that tickets are to be returned to Ruairi Dundas, John McGovern or any of your group leaders by Jan 27th at the latest. Would all group leaders try to get a reminder to their promoters that the last heave is now!

We are also looking forward as a club to our Dinner Dance, due to take place on February 17th in The Killyhevlin Hotel. Music will be provided by the highly rated ‘Rhythm and Sticks’, with a 7pm start. Tickets are available from our usual promoters Brendy, Nicola, Gavin, Donal Corrigan, Gerald Greene, John McGovern, Francie Rasdale, Patricia Brennan, Big Sean, and Peter Jones.

Finally, it was with sadness that club members heard of the bereavements for two families connected to our club, with the passing of Mrs Scott in Belcoo and Mrs Mary Montaque Cassidy, Belleek. Condolences to the Greene and Cassidy families.
